About Us
The School was founded by Adele Meads in 1960 with six pupils. By 1964 the School had become well established and has continued to grow. Miss Fiona Rees, grand-daughter of Adele Meads, became Principal of the School in April 2014, and the Deputy Principal is Mrs Patsy Rees, daughter of Adele Meads. Musical Theatre classes are taught by Mrs Nia Roberts.
The School`s aim has always been to maintain a high standard of teaching and discipline and to nurture pupils in a caring and friendly way. We take children from 2½ years (Melody bear). |
Patsy undertook all of her training at the School and is a Licentiate of the Allied Dancing Association.
Nia Roberts trained at the Northern College of Music in Manchester and teaches Musical Theatre. Nia is well known in the area as both a singing and music teacher.
